The Health Care Center’s physician and nurses are available to provide health consultations to all visitors.
Stop by any time for consultations regarding cold symptoms, gastrointestinal symptoms, headaches, dizziness, fever, palpitations, aches and pains, constipation, bruises, or otherwise feelings that you are unwell or worried that you might be, or if you are in need of first aid treatment for an injury.

Treatment for Physical Ailments

The Health Care Center physician can perform examinations, prescribe medication, and provide referrals to hospitals.
No proof of insurance or payment is necessary.

*A nurse is available at all times including other than the above to treat visitors in need of care.

Treatment for Injuries

Nurses are available to provide first aid care for minor injuries.
If you are in need of examination by a specialist, referral to an appropriate hospital will be provided.

Special Health Consultations

Special consultations are provided by specialists from the Kumamoto University Medical School Hospital (a gynecologist).
Dates and times for seeing these specialists will be posted on the notice boards at the Health Care Center and each department office.
If you wish to receive a special consultation, please inquire at the Health Care Center reception desk on one of these dates.

Lifestyle Disease Consultations

A specialist is available for consultations regarding how to cope with high blood pressure, heart disease, or other chronic illnesses.
Reservations are required for this type of consultation, so please contact the Health Care Center before coming in for one.

Female related Consultation

Nurses are available for menstruation, contraception, etc.

Class Attendance Permission Form (Certificate of Proof of Recovery from an Infection Required to Resume Classes)

If you have been absent from class due to an infection, ask the doctor who treated you to fill out this form, and then submit the form to the office of academic affairs of your respective department along with a notice of absence.
Submission of these forms does not guarantee that you will be excused for the relevant period of absence.
