What the Health Care Center Can Do for You

The Kumamoto University Health Care Center is different from the nurse’s offices you may have visited during your elementary through high school days. Here, you can be examined by doctors and be prescribed medicine.
No proof of insurance or payment is necessary.
Please stop by any time you need treatment for a minor injury, feel unwell, or are worried about something.
Although we are not equipped to handle every illness, if you are in need of a detailed examination or specialized care, we can refer you to the University Hospital or a nearby clinic.

Equipment Available for Use

The Health Care Center has a variety of equipment that you can use whenever you like.
Proper use of the following equipment will help you keep good track of your own health.

  • Body fat scale
  • Automatic height and weight measurement scale
  • Automatic sphygmomanometer
  • Automatic optometer, etc.

Magazines and pamphlets covering ways to improve your health are also available.
